This notice explains how Çukurova Tius Otel processes your personal data when you visit our website and contact us, under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).

2. What data we process
- Reservation requests: The dates, number of guests, room type, name and note you enter in the reservation form. The site does not store them; when you send the form, they open as a message in your own WhatsApp, and reach us only when you send that message. Your phone number reaches us through WhatsApp.
- Contact form: Your name, e-mail address, subject and message, delivered to us by e-mail.
- Phone, WhatsApp and e-mail: What you tell us and your contact details.
- Technical data: When you open the site, our server may log your IP address, browser details and the time of the visit for security.
- Usage data: Only if you accept cookies, Google Analytics records which pages are viewed, approximate location (city), device type and clicks on reservation links.
3. Why, and on what legal basis
- To answer your reservation request and plan your stay: necessary to enter into or perform a contract (KVKK Art. 5/2-c).
- To answer your questions and stay in touch: our legitimate interest (Art. 5/2-f).
- To keep the site secure and prevent misuse: our legitimate interest and legal obligations (Art. 5/2-ç, f).
- To measure and improve how the site is used (Google Analytics) and to show the map (Google Maps): your explicit consent (Art. 5/1). You can withdraw it at any time through the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every page.
4. Who receives your data
We do not sell your data or share it for advertising. We rely on the following service providers, some of which have servers outside Türkiye:
- WhatsApp (Meta Platforms): reservation requests and messages.
- Google: e-mail (Gmail), Google Analytics and Google Maps.
- Our hosting provider: the server the site runs on.
Transfers abroad rely on your explicit consent or the other conditions set out in Art. 9 of the law. Public authorities receive information only when they lawfully request it.
5. How long we keep it
We keep reservation and contact messages for the periods required by law after your request is settled, or at most 2 years where no period applies. Google Analytics data is deleted after 14 months. After that, data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
6. Cookies
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. On this site:
- Essential: your cookie choice and your light/dark display choice are stored in your browser. They are needed for the site to work and are not shared.
- Analytics (only with your consent): Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*), which count visitors and show how the site is used; kept for up to 2 years.
- Map (only with your consent): Google Maps uses its own cookies when the map is shown.
We ask on your first visit. If you decline, analytics never runs and the map loads only when you press “Show the map”. You can change your choice at any time through “Cookie preferences” at the bottom of every page, or delete and block cookies in your browser settings.
7. Your rights
Under Art. 11 of the law you may ask whether your data is processed and request information about it; learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly; know the third parties it is transferred to in Türkiye or abroad; ask for incomplete or incorrect data to be corrected, deleted or destroyed, and for those third parties to be informed; object to a result against you arising solely from automated analysis; and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.
